Embassy of the Republic of Korea in the Republic of Austria and Permanent Mission of the Republic of Korea to the International Organizations in Vienna

Ambassador Ham Sang Wook paid a courtesy call to Mr. Peter Launsky-Tieffenthal, Secretary-General for Foreign Affairs, on the afternoon of October 18 and presented his credentials.

Ambassador Ham and Secretary-General Launsky-Tieffenthal acknowledged the development of Korea-Austria relations owing to the 130th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations, and expressed their hope for the promotion of friendly and cooperative relations.

Both sides also pledged to continue to further strengthen cooperation in key areas such as business, culture and interpersonal exchange while also working closelyto promote security and peace in the region, including on the Korean Peninsula.
